Humpday Food Porn
This is what I would like to call a perfect meal. Vegetables, olives, alcohol and ice. Doesn’t get much better than this.
While we missed out on the 25 cent “Martini Lunch” at one of my favorite spots in New Orleans a few weeks ago, Cafe Adelaide, we did get to indulge in their meal-in-a-drink Bloody Mary. More on Cafe Adelaide and New Orleans soon, but for now, enjoy the pic.
Spice Addict
My husband has a serious addiction, and its clogging my kitchen cabinets: spices. On a recent trip to Istanbul and Jerusalem, he loaded up on zatar, harissa, ras el hanut and other spice blends, which didn’t really help my already crowded spice cabinet. This is what my counter looked like while trying to organize the explosion:
